On May 8th, 2021, a press event was hosted by East Pennsboro Township acknowledging the good works of multiple community partners who worked together to save the life of a ten-year-old boy.  The outcome was the result of township police officers putting into practice hemorrhage control training providing by Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center known as Stop the Bleed©.  The boy was involved in a bicycle crash and the officers applied a tourniquet to stop bleeding from a broken arm.  The tourniquet was the result of a District Club Grant awarded to the Rotary Club of Mechanicsburg North (RCMN).  The club used the $2500 district match to purchase close to 300 tourniquets for township staff.  District 7390 grant money is the result of Rotarians within in our district donating money to The Rotary Foundation!  To read more on this story featured by CBS 21 and PennLive go to: https://bit.ly/3b8vOON and https://bit.ly/2QTHqye
