Rotary Foundation Dinner
The Annual Foundation Dinner was held Thursday, November 5 at the Sheraton Hotel in Harrisburg. Over 180 Rotarians and guests attended! A huge thank you to all that purchased 50/50 tickets! A total of $1,250 was raised and half of that was sent to the Rotary Foundation for PolioPlus.
DGE Will Kirkpatrick and his committee planned an inspiring evening of Rotary speakers. The 2008/2009 GSE Team to D1950 Germany spoke about their experiences on the trip, PDG Chuck Cenker gave an update on END POLIO NOW, Randy Miller spoke about his experiences as a child with Polio, and PDG Rob Brown (Maryland) spoke about Building Peace through Rotary Peace Fellows. PDG Ben Hoover presented the following Foundation Awards from the 2008-2009 Rotary year! Congratulations!
