PolioPlus funds the elimination of Polio in the world. Thanks to Rotarians, polio is nearly eradicated.

You can make a one-time payment, or set up regular periodic payments, by clicking here!  Its the easiest thing to do on the Rotary website.

Don't want to do it electronically?  Click here for a printable donation form and mail in a check to the address shown on the form.  No later than June 15th in order to count for this year.  I ask that you donate at least $100.

Auction for Wittel Farm growing project

The Rotary Club of Mount Joy is holding a special fundraising project for the Wittel Growing Project.  Wittel Farms LCC, in partnership with Hunger-Free Lancaster County, is in its 3rd year undertaking an ambitious new initiative at their farm in Elizabethtown. The Wittel Growing Project grows fresh vegetables to help feed hungry people in Lancaster County, and throughout south-central Pennsylvania.

In 2017, The Wittel Farm Growing Project expanded from two to five acres, and it will cover 5 acres again in 2018. There they raise sweet corn, peppers, tomatoes, various greens, and sweet potatoes. The fresh food is distributed through the local food banks all summer long.

Though free to the food recipients, projects like this incur significant costs. The Rotary Club of Mount Joy is holding an online benefit auction to raise $2500 to support this important local service. More than 20 items are up for your review. Bid securely through the Rotary Facebook page. The auction opens, Friday, June 22 at 8:00 AM and will continue through Monday, June 25 at 5:00 PM.

You can help and never leave the comfort of your own home. Check out the gift certificates, baskets of goodies, and more at https://www.facebook.com/mountjoyrotary. Payment will be securely handled via PayPal. Sign-in and stay in touch to make sure you are a winner!
