RMB Northern Tier Events

Northern-Tier (Groups A-C) Greater Harrisburg Area - Upcoming Events for 2018

In 2018,  the Northern Tier will host events in February (Mechanicsburg North), May (Hershey), August (Carlisle), and November (Harrisburg).  These events will be held as close to the middle of the month as possible.

The Rotary Club of Harrisburg Keystone hosted on 14 November at the Appalachian Brewing Company Harrisburg location perhaps the most successful RMB event of 2017 with 66 Rotarians and guests from 15 district clubs registering and at least 50 of them attending the event.  This result stems in large part to the promotional and organizational Leadership in Service of Addeline Alaniz Edwards (club president) and  Joe McNally, Scott Stevens, and Alaine Keisling (Director/Assistant Directors of the RMB Governing Board for the Northern Tier).

Alaine Keisling took the lead selling hosting to her club and providing great promotion through the Central Penn Business Journal as well as setting up an innovative and free registration process through Google.  Special Kudos go to event sponsors Appalachian Brewing Company and the Central Penn Business Journal who made possible a free networking event with a cash bar.  Rotarians made great connections at the networking event and enjoyed the fun and fellowship of Rotary Means Business District 7390.

RMB thanks the Rotary Club of Harrisburg Keystone and all attendees for making this such a wonderful networking event.  Event photos are posted to the "Rotary Means Business District 7390" Facebook Page.  LIKE us on Facebook if you have not already done so.

The Rotary Club of Carlisle hosted a super successful RMB networking event on 12 September at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory. Twenty six Rotarians and guests (three potential Rotarians and one family of Rotary) from five clubs (Carlisle, Carlisle-Sunrise, Colonial Park, Mechanicsburg, and West Shore) attended the event.  Rotarians and their guests made some really great connections and enjoyed much fun and fellowship along with really great and plentiful hors d'oeuvres ably provided by "Dash of Salt and Pepper" caterers and paid for by the event sponsor Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory who also provided additional wine and beer. Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory led by its owner Chris Hoffman made available his beautiful, spacious funeral home and gave RMB the best set up it has ever had.  Thank you Chris, Jill, and Emily and thank you Dan and Joanne Dixon of Dash of Salt and Pepper caterers.  We could not had a better evening and our three guests will most likely join Rotary soon.
