The District 7390 Pints for Polio fundraiser on World Polio Day, October 24, is coming together nicely! THANK YOU to all the Rotarians who worked to contact and secure establishments that are willing to donate a portion of their proceeds to Polio Plus. EVERYONE is invited to participate in this effort. I hope everyone will plan to go out on 10/24 and bring your family, friends and, perhaps, a designated driver! I encourage clubs to plan group outings to the establishments in your area. Remember, all proceeds from the evening will be matched 2:1 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Please see the attached flyer for all of the participating locations and details. Print the flyer and bring along to the establishments on World Polio Day to ensure that your expenditures are included in the donations! It’s not too late to add other establishments to the list. If you know of another establishment that might consider participating, please ask them and connect interested parties with me at umartone@leadershipharrisburg.org.

Not only will you be participating in an important Rotary service project, but you will be seeing some of the world's best attractions. We will visit several cities in India. If you are interested in participating in this trip, please plan ahead as it takes at least one month to receive a VISA for India. For more information on obtaining a VISA, visit www.travisa.com.
When: January 18-31, 2018
Cities: Several different cities
Cost: $2575 plus flight to India and back, assuming some home stays in India. I find that Indian hosts are delightful people.
Fun: Most assuredly
