THE PAUL HARRIS SOCIETY IS A (DISTRICT- ADMINISTERED) NEW LEVEL OF RECOGNITION FOR THOSE WHO ELECT TO GIVE $1,000 OR MORE EACH YEAR TO THE ROTARY FOUNDATION’S Non-restricted ANNUAL PROGRAMS FUND (APF). FIFTY PERCENT OF FUNDS CONTRIBUTED TO APF ARE RETURNED TO THE DISTRICT IN THREE YEARS AS DISTRICT DESIGNATED FUNDS.
Commencing Rotary year 2005-2006 each donor who agrees to annually contribute $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation will be awarded membership in the Paul Harris Society of District 7390. Members will receive a beautiful and distinctive gold and blue lapel banner to wear with either the Rotary International or Rotary Foundation pin and a distinctive charter member certificate. On-going special recognition will be given to Society members especially at District events.
GUIDELINES

Since contributions to The Permanent Fund do not qualify towards Paul Harris Fellow Recognition, contributions to the Permanent Fund will not qualify for membership in the PHS.

Only new, outright contributions count towards membership. The transfer of Foundation Recognition Points do not count.

Each donor must give a minimum of $1,000 annually to qualify. A member and spouse must give a minimum of $1,000 each to both qualify as members of the PHS.

Contributions to club foundations do not qualify towards membership in the PHS.

Membership in the PHS will be determined once your contribution posts at The Rotary Foundation and you alert the the District Office the payment has posted.

Pledges do not count towards membership in the PHS. Enrollment in TRF-DIRECT will qualify toward membership.
